Kick Off and Jump Start For the FIFA World Cup 2022

Careers

As England are counting down the moments before entering their seventh consecutive World Cup, we’re looking at who’s set to play in the starting 11 and getting to the grips with the multi-million-pound cars they drive.

Set to run from November 20th to December 18th, the FIFA World Cup 2022 is the moment every football fan across the globe has been waiting for. This will be the 22nd edition of the competition and the first played in the Arab world.

And of course, as the games run between the opening match at the Al Bayt Stadium, and the final at the Lusail, fans are sure to be filling the streets of Qatar in the hopes of spotting some global players. And we can hazard a pretty good guess that the first thing they’ll be looking for are going to be the flashiest four wheels around.

For our lions, their auto portfolio is an impressive one! Let’s take a look at the rundown, and dream big that when the cup comes home, it might be coming home in Harry Kane’s Bentley!

Harry Kane

Kane’s Continental GT Supersports, at around £212,000, is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his private car collection.

Opting for the GT to get him to and from training, the Spurs strikers’ other autos include a sporty Land Rover Autobiography worth around £99,000, and a spacious F-PACE which starts at a modest £35,000.

Not a bad choice for run-arounds and family day trips with the dogs!

Jordan Pickford

One of the largest car collections is that of Jordan Pickford, and it’s safe to say that he didn’t pick Ford, he picked a Lambo.

A Lamborghini Urus, in fact, valued at a mere £160,000.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford’s car collection is currently worth more than £300,000, though it’s the Mercedes quality that he’s such a big fan of.

He’s been snapped driving a Mercedes AMG C63 complete with a custom paint job and harmonic exhaust tones that will turn the heads of all car lovers, as well as an AMG G63 and an S Class Coupe worth an estimated £100,000 and with a top speed of up to 155 miles per hour.

Kyle Walker

The Manchester City player loves getting behind the wheel of his Lamborghini Huracan, and whilst such a flamboyant supercar is a pipe dream to most of us, it’s mere pocket change for a Premier League footballer like Walker.

It’s a tech-lovers automobile paradise, and has even been described as the perfect fusion between technology and design. It’s so fancy in fact, that the Huracan is completely unique in the dark too, thanks to the “technological” light of its full-LED lighting system.

Did someone say bat-mobile?!

Bukayo Saka

Despite being only 21 years old, the Arsenal winger was recently spotted in a white Lamborghini.

But somehow, the thought of Saka heading to the nearest McDonalds drive-thru in a Corsa doesn’t do him justice.

Well earned, lad.

Declan Rice

Even with a £780,000 per year contract with West Ham, Rice has opted for a very sensible, rather ‘normal’ Land Rover.

Why nothing flashier? Maybe it’s just a matter of taste, but we’re fairly confident he won’t be bothered about the rise in fuel costs.

John Stones

Although spotted often behind the wheel of his £400,000 Rolls Royce, Stones is a not-so-secret fan of a good old classic.

He has been pictured driving Kyle Walker to training in a vintage Mini Cooper worth about £5,000. The England defender posted a video of the drive on Instagram and was flooded with messages pointing out how many he could buy with his £100,000 a week salary at City.

Jack Grealish

After becoming the most expensive English player ever thanks to a $124 million transfer deal in 2021, Grealish’s net worth is thought to be around $21 million as of February 2022. Not surprising then that the midfielder opts for cars that are no less than showstoppers.

His tick boxes include challenging, attractive, and quick. So when it comes to the choice of luxury automobile, he has his stylish Range Rover, which he says is ideal for him.
